Thread summary
The Furion's Fury team invited outside spell ideas for its campaign and rated the submissions as they came in.
The ground rules were simple: no god-like spells that win the game on their own, and nothing the Warcraft III engine couldn't actually do (units tunnelling underground and popping up anywhere was ruled out, however cool).
Team members also shared abilities that were already in the works, including a dwarven tank that locks down into a fortified siege mode that riflemen can man, and several dwarf and night elf hero spells. The thread is a good snapshot of how campaign teams in 2003 filtered community ideas through balance and editor limits.
